Tel Aviv, Israel – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that US President Donald Trump is considering several options for dealing with the Iranian issue.
He affirmed the continuation of coordination and communication between the two sides regarding regional and security developments.
Ongoing Israeli-American coordination
Netanyahu explained that communication with Trump is regular, noting that they speak “every other day.”
This is part of their joint monitoring of developments related to Iran and sensitive security issues in the region.
The Israeli Prime Minister affirmed that his country continues close coordination
with the United States regarding various potential scenarios concerning Iran.
He also pointed out that the US administration is considering a number of options before making any future decisions.
He added that Israel is closely monitoring US positions and diplomatic
and military actions related to the Iranian issue.

The decision to escalate, the Strait of Hormuz, and military preparations
Netanyahu indicated that the decision to resort to further military escalation would be left to the US president.
He also clarified that the final decision regarding any additional steps would rest with Washington,
within the framework of the existing coordination between the two sides.
He emphasized that Israel reserves the right to take whatever measures it deems necessary to protect its national security.
However, it operates within a framework of close coordination with its allies, foremost among them the United States.
Regarding the Strait of Hormuz, Netanyahu stated that opening the strait is militarily feasible should circumstances require it.
He stressed the importance of ensuring freedom of international navigation
and the continued flow of energy and trade through these strategic waterways.
He added that Israeli and American forces are fully prepared to act inside Iran if necessary.
He also confirmed that military preparations are in place to confront various potential scenarios in the coming period.
