Washington, DC – Axios correspondent Barak Ravid reports that prominent Republican Senator Lindsey Graham revealed details of a phone call he had with President Donald Trump last night. This occurred just minutes before the start of the US military operation targeting the Venezuelan regime.
Warning messages to Iran and Cuba
In press statements following the operation, Graham issued a stark warning to Maduro’s allies. He also asserted that the leaders of Cuba and Iran should be deeply concerned. In a controversial remark, Graham stated, “There’s a new leader in town. If I were the leader of Iran, I’d be going to the mosque to pray right now.”
“Drug Empire” in America’s Backyard
According to Graham, President Trump was “very frank” during the call. He emphasized his conviction that a “drug empire” was operating in the United States’ backyard. Trump asserted during the call that this empire “must be destroyed” completely to ensure American national security.
