.PARIS, France – French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin has issued urgent orders to strengthen security measures around major museums and archaeological sites across the country. This comes following the sensational robbery at the Louvre, one of the world’s most famous museums.

The minister stressed the need to raise the level of alert in all cultural and tourist centers. He requested increased police patrols and the use of the latest surveillance systems to ensure the protection of rare artworks. This came especially after the incident sparked a wave of concern within French and international cultural and artistic circles.

Security sources confirmed that investigations are still ongoing to identify the perpetrators and recover the stolen piece. Experts described the incident as a “severe blow to human heritage.” They noted that it is a wake-up call for cultural security in Europe.
