Dubai, United Arab Emirates – Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that Israel is preparing to receive US President Donald Trump on an upcoming visit.
It is estimated that he will arrive on Sunday, with the possibility of arriving on Saturday evening instead.
Or to stay until Monday morning if the hostage release is delayed.
Short visit
The visit will be short. It is likely to begin with an official reception at Ben Gurion Airport. Trump will deliver a speech before the Knesset.
As part of the preparations, the newspaper reported the US Embassy in Israel contacted the King David Hotel in Jerusalem. They reserved two floors designated for President Trump and his companions.
This will be from Saturday evening until Sunday. Despite the heavy crowding in the hotel, it will require the evacuation of some guests.
According to the newspaper, it is still not decided whether Trump will spend the night in Israel. He may be satisfied with a quick visit before leaving immediately after the end of the meeting schedule.
US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday evening that he might head to the Middle East at the end of the week.
This is in the event that an agreement is concluded to end the war in Gaza.
