Manama, Bahrain – The Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemned the repeated Iranian attacks targeting Kuwait and Jordan, affirming its complete rejection of any actions that infringe upon the sovereignty of states or threaten their security and stability. It also stressed the importance of respecting the principles of international law and good neighborliness.
In a statement, the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed Manama’s full solidarity with both Kuwait and Jordan in confronting any threats targeting their security and territorial integrity. It also expressed its support for the measures taken by both countries to maintain their security and protect their citizens.
Bahrain stressed that the continuation of such attacks would only exacerbate tensions in the region. Therefore, it called for restraint and prioritizing political and diplomatic solutions to avoid further escalation, which could negatively impact regional security and stability.
Manama also reiterated its call to the international community to intensify efforts aimed at reducing tensions and strengthening regional security. It affirmed that this would contribute to protecting international navigation and regional stability, and would spare the people of the region the dangers of a wider conflict.
