Abu Dhabi, UAE – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi arrived today in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, for a fraternal visit to the United Arab Emirates. The visit aims to strengthen the deep-rooted historical ties between the two countries.
High-level reception
Upon his arrival at the Presidential Airport in Abu Dhabi, His Highness was received by his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. A warm and brotherly atmosphere prevailed, reflecting the depth of bilateral relations. Also present at the reception was a high-level Emirati delegation, including His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chief of the Presidential Court for Private Affairs; His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to His Highness the President; and a number of ministers and senior state officials. From the Egyptian side, the Egyptian Ambassador to Abu Dhabi and members of the Egyptian diplomatic mission were also in attendance.

The official spokesperson for the Presidency stated that the visit comes within the framework of ongoing coordination between the two leaderships. He also noted that President El-Sisi arrived safely to begin the visit’s agenda, which focuses on ways to enhance joint cooperation in various fields. In addition, regional and international issues of mutual interest will be discussed. This visit reaffirms the shared destiny and strategic cooperation between Cairo and Abu Dhabi. This cooperation is a cornerstone of stability in the Arab region.
