Muscat, Oman – The Emirates-XRG cycling team continued its strong presence in the season’s races.

After achieving distinguished results on Sunday in the Volta a Communards of Valencia, Spain and the Tour of Oman, confirming his early competitive readiness with the start of the new season.

In Spain, Portuguese Joao Almeida finished the Volta Comunitat Valencia race in second place overall.

After a week full of outstanding performance, he concluded it by safely finishing the fifth stage within the main group.

To secure his place on the final podium behind Belgian Remco Evenipol from the Red Bull – Bora – Hansgrohe team, which won the title.

The fourth mountain stage, extending 172 kilometers from La Nucia to Teulada-Moreira, witnessed a strong struggle to climb Puig de la Lorentha.

Almeida crossed the finish line second.

His teammate Brandon McNulty finished the stage in the top five.

The team strengthened its position in the overall standings, with two riders in the top five by the end of the race.

The young Spaniard Adria Pericas, 19 years old, also emerged from the team in the fifth stage.

After an offensive performance within the secession group on the rise of Port del Garbi “5.1 km at a slope rate of 7.1%”.

To finish the fourth stage in his first participation in a stage race in the World Tour category.

This is a remarkable achievement that confirms his development after moving from the Generation Z team to the first team.

In the Sultanate of Oman, Colombian Sebastian Molano gave the Emirati team an ideal start by winning the first stage of the Tour of Oman.

After a 170.9 km race, the team dominated the stage.

Before Molano made the final start at his hole, achieving the leader’s first shirt this week.

With the offensive performance in Valencia and the victory in Oman, the Emirates-XRG cycling team confirms its readiness to continue competing in various directions during the current season.
