The Chairman of the Pakistani Senate affirmed his country’s unwavering commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Georgia, emphasizing the importance of building new bridges of cooperation based on mutual respect and shared interests. This initiative demonstrates Pakistan’s keenness to enhance its regional partnerships.
This came during his meeting with Georgian officials. The two sides discussed prospects for developing cooperation in the political, economic, cultural, and educational fields, as well as exchanging parliamentary expertise and strengthening coordination in international forums. Pakistan seeks to reach comprehensive understandings with Georgia.
The Speaker of the Council explained that Pakistan views Georgia as a promising strategic partner in the Caucasus region. He emphasized Islamabad’s keenness to open new avenues for trade and investment cooperation, which would contribute to driving development in both countries. Undoubtedly, Pakistan aims to achieve more fruitful cooperation with Georgia.
For their part, Georgian officials expressed their appreciation for Pakistan’s supportive stance in strengthening relations. They indicated their desire to expand cooperation in the fields of energy, infrastructure, and technology. Pakistan is considered an important partner for Georgia in the region.
