Kyiv, Ukraine – Ukrainian air defense forces announced they had neutralized 233 Russian drones during a large-scale aerial attack targeting several areas within the country. This occurred during one of the largest drone attacks Ukraine has experienced in recent times. Ukrainian forces stated that air defense units engaged a large number of Russian drones, successfully intercepting and neutralizing them using air defense systems and electronic warfare capabilities. Support teams and mobile defense units also participated in the operation.
She added that the attack targeted several areas. Meanwhile, authorities continued to assess the damage caused by the falling debris of some of the drones after their interception. These attacks come amid the ongoing military escalation between Russia and Ukraine. The exchange of long-range airstrikes also continues, with Moscow and Kyiv increasingly relying on drones and missiles to target vital sites and facilities.
