Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – The Yemeni government and the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) held talks on ways to enhance joint cooperation and intensify coordination regarding the political and security developments in the region. This aims to support efforts to maintain regional security and stability.
The talks included a review of the latest developments in Yemen and discussions on mechanisms to support peace efforts. Furthermore, cooperation between the two sides was strengthened in the political, economic, and humanitarian fields, in line with current developments.
The participants emphasized the importance of continued consultation and exchange of views on regional issues. They also stressed the need to work towards unifying positions on shared challenges, thereby strengthening regional security and stability.
