Moscow, Russia – The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that it had carried out precision strikes targeting Ukrainian drone command and control centers in the Kharkiv region. The ministry confirmed that the operations resulted in the destruction of sites used to coordinate drone attacks against Russian forces.
In a statement, the ministry said the strikes were conducted using high-precision weapons. Moreover, the strikes also targeted military equipment depots and Ukrainian troop deployment points. These actions were part of ongoing military operations across various fronts.
The statement added that Russian forces continued their advance on several fronts. They also carried out intensive air and artillery strikes targeting Ukrainian troop concentrations and equipment. Furthermore, the Ministry claimed to have inflicted casualties and equipment losses in recent hours.
Ukrainian authorities did not immediately comment on the Russian statement. Meanwhile, fighting continues on the Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia fronts. Both sides are exchanging attacks.
The Russian-Ukrainian conflict is witnessing a continuous escalation. Both sides are increasingly relying on drones for military operations and reconnaissance. As a result, drone control centers have become prime targets on the battlefield.
