Beijing calls for prioritizing dialogue

The Chinese Foreign Minister stated that the current détente between Washington and Tehran still faces challenges.

He maintained that continued communication and dialogue remain

the best way to address differences and avoid a return to confrontation.

He added that resorting to diplomatic means remains more effective than military escalation.

This comes amidst the sensitive situation in the region.

Warning of the fragility of the ceasefire

The Chinese Foreign Minister noted that the current ceasefire is still fragile.

Therefore, this calls for greater international and regional efforts to preserve

it and prevent any developments that might lead to renewed tension between the two sides.

He stressed that the stability of the region requires all parties to commit

to self-restraint and refrain from measures that would increase the severity of the crisis.

China affirms support for political solutions

Beijing reiterated its support for political and diplomatic solutions to resolve conflicts,

emphasizing that dialogue remains the most viable option for achieving security and stability.

This Chinese stance comes as diplomatic efforts continue to implement the recent understandings between the United States and Iran.
