Beirut, Lebanon – Are there disagreements among the three branches of government in Lebanon, as some media outlets have reported? Lebanese President Joseph Aoun categorically denied this,
affirming complete agreement between himself, the Speaker of Parliament, and the Prime Minister.
At the same time, he stressed the importance of restoring the state’s role and strengthening its various institutions.
This, he said, preserves security and stability, bolsters the economy and the judiciary, and maintains national unity.
