Muscat, Oman – The Sultanate of Oman condemned the attack on the State of Kuwait. It affirmed its full solidarity with Kuwait and its support in confronting any threats to its security and stability.

In an official statement, the Sultanate of Oman affirmed its categorical

rejection of all provocative acts that threaten the security and sovereignty of states.

It also stressed the importance of respecting the rules of international law and the principles of good neighborliness,

which contribute to strengthening security and stability in the region.

The Sultanate of Oman reiterated its deep-rooted fraternal relations with the State of Kuwait

and expressed its support for all measures aimed at preserving Kuwait’s security and territorial integrity.

It noted that the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states constitutes an integrated system.

It clarified that any threat targeting one of its member states necessitates

a unified stance to maintain regional stability and safeguard shared interests.

Rejecting threats and calling for strengthening stability

The Sultanate emphasized its rejection of all practices and actions that could incite tension or threaten the sovereignty and security of states.

It stressed the necessity of adhering to peaceful solutions to address disputes and conflicts.

It also called for avoiding steps that could escalate tensions in the region.

Furthermore, it urged efforts to solidify dialogue and understanding

as a means of addressing outstanding issues between countries.

Oman emphasized the importance of intensifying regional and international efforts aimed at protecting security and stability in the region.

It also stressed the importance of preventing crises from worsening or tensions from escalating.

The Sultanate reiterated its position calling for support for peaceful endeavors and enhanced cooperation among states.

It emphasized that this achieves security and development

for the peoples of the region and preserves the sovereignty and independence of states,

protecting them from any threats or actions that could destabilize the region.
