Amman, Jordan – The Jordanian government has approved a package of decisions and measures to compensate those affected by the repercussions of current regional events. It also approved measures aimed at strengthening the country’s energy security system, given the increasing challenges posed by the situation in the region.

These measures aim to alleviate the economic burdens on the most affected sectors, particularly in light of the impact of regional tensions on energy prices and supply chains.

The government confirmed that the decisions include direct support for certain affected groups. In addition, there are measures to ensure the continued availability of energy and enhance strategic reserves. These measures also aim to maintain the stability of the local market.

The government also indicated that the relevant authorities are continuously monitoring developments and will take any necessary additional steps to address any potential repercussions in the coming period.

These actions are part of Jordan’s efforts to contain the effects of regional crises. Furthermore, the government seeks to maintain economic stability and ensure the sustainability of essential services for citizens.
