Tel Aviv, Israel – An informed Israeli source revealed that the ongoing military operations are not limited to tactical strikes, but are fundamentally aimed at “creating the conditions” for regime change in Iran, a statement reflecting an unprecedented escalation in the declared objectives.

According to the source, the current strategy is based on weakening Tehran’s security and military infrastructure, including its regional proxies, in parallel with economic and media pressure, with the goal of creating a turbulent internal environment that could pave the way for major political transformations.

The source indicated that the strikes targeting sensitive sites inside Iran, along with targeting its allies in the region, are part of a “broader vision” that goes beyond deterrence to reshape the balance of power.

Observers believe this approach reflects a qualitative shift in Israeli rhetoric, from containing Iranian influence to attempting to directly influence the regime’s future, which could open the door to widespread reactions from Tehran and its allies.

Amid this escalation, fears are growing that the region could slide into open confrontation, especially given the intertwining of military and political issues and the absence of clear signs of de-escalation in the near future.
