Doha, Qatar – The Qatari Ministry of Defense announced today that its armed forces successfully intercepted 10 drones and two cruise missiles that had violated the country’s airspace. The Ministry confirmed that air defense systems dealt with the targets with high efficiency. As a result, there were no casualties or material damage.
In an official statement, the Ministry added that the detection operations were conducted using early warning systems. The targets were tracked from the moment they entered the surveillance range. Later, they were destroyed in the air, in accordance with the established rules of engagement. The Ministry clarified that the security situation is stable and under complete control.

It emphasized that protecting Qatari airspace is a top priority and will not be compromised.
