Ottawa, Canada – A horrific shooting occurred Tuesday morning at a high school in Templer Ridge, British Columbia, Canada. At least 10 people were killed, and more than 25 others were injured, some critically.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) announced that the shooter was a woman. She was found dead inside the school from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Officials explained that the incident involved the school and a nearby residential area, where some fatalities occurred.
Officials indicated that emergency crews safely evacuated students and staff. The investigation into the motive is ongoing.
