Cairo, Egypt – President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi affirmed during his speech today at the Egyptian Military Academy that building the Egyptian individual on the foundations of discipline, knowledge, and awareness is the cornerstone of the state’s strength and its ability to confront challenges. He also emphasized that the academy represents an advanced model for preparing cadres capable of protecting the homeland and participating in the development process. This came during an inspection visit the president made to the academy. During the visit, he performed the dawn prayer with the students and observed the morning assembly and physical training exercises. He then met with the students and engaged in dialogue with them in an atmosphere characterized by discipline and transparency.
Direct messages to students
During his speech, President El-Sisi addressed several messages to the academy’s students. He emphasized that Egypt is counting on the awareness and competence of its youth. He also noted that the current phase requires officers who possess, in addition to military proficiency, political and cultural understanding, as well as the ability to think scientifically and make decisions. He explained that the goal of establishing and developing the military academy is not limited to military training alone, but extends to cultivating well-rounded individuals capable of operating effectively in diverse circumstances. He pointed out that the state is committed to implementing fair, digitally-based evaluation systems without any favoritism.
Discipline and merit
The President emphasized that seriousness and discipline are the fundamental criteria for success within the academy. He also noted that completing courses and undergoing training is based on clear standards that ensure the graduation of individuals worthy of responsibility. He affirmed that what takes place within the academy reflects the state’s vision of building strong institutions based on competence and sound selection, not on favoritism or nepotism.

In his remarks, President El-Sisi noted that Egypt continues to work steadily to maintain its security and stability, despite the challenges and turmoil in the region. The President concluded his visit by sharing breakfast with the students, a gesture reflecting the political leadership’s commitment to direct engagement with young people and listening to their opinions and aspirations.
