Caracas, Venezuela – Scattered demonstrations took place in the streets of the Venezuelan capital, Caracas, and other cities, with protesters chanting slogans demanding the release of President Nicolás Maduro. This movement comes amidst a chaotic political landscape reflecting the deep divisions and tensions gripping the country. Conflicting accounts surround the motives and objectives behind these demonstrations.

In a significant escalation, Nicolás Maduro Jr. accused the United States of orchestrating an armed plot aimed at destabilizing the country. He asserted that the protests were not spontaneous but rather part of an externally orchestrated scenario designed to incite chaos and pressure the government in Caracas.

Venezuelan authorities confirmed they are closely monitoring the situation, warning against attempts to exploit the unrest for political and security agendas. This comes as Venezuela grapples with a severe economic crisis and an open conflict with Washington and its allies.

Observers believe these developments could plunge the country into a new wave of tension. The likelihood of political or security escalation is also increasing, given the regional and international power struggles. This conflict continues to cast a long shadow over the Venezuelan landscape.

Venezuela is caught between street protests and political maneuvering, with mutual accusations fueling an unquenchable fire.
