Abu Dhabi, UAE – The Emirates International Aid Agency signed a cooperation agreement with the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs “OCHA”.
Under it, the UAE contributes 5 million US dollars.
With the aim of supporting the Sudan Joint Humanitarian Fund to support the emergency humanitarian response in Sudan.
In a way that contributes to meeting the urgent needs of the groups most affected by the crisis.

It is worth noting that the UAE continues to support humanitarian relief efforts for the brotherly Sudanese people.
This is within the framework of its firm and permanent commitment to supporting the efforts made to address this catastrophic crisis that Sudan is going through.
The UAE provided $4.24 billion to Sudan over the past decade (2015-2025).
While $784 million in humanitarian aid has been allocated since the outbreak of the current crisis (2023-2025).
The UAE stresses the importance of collective action with regional and international partners, and the importance of establishing a humanitarian truce that guarantees the protection of civilians.
It also facilitates the opening of safe corridors for unhindered humanitarian access to those in need to ensure stability and peace for the brotherly Sudanese people.
