Baghdad, Iraq – Iraq and France discussed the latest developments in the region as part of ongoing political consultations between the two countries on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
During meetings between Iraqi and French officials, views were exchanged on security and political developments in the Middle East. The two sides also discussed ways to reduce tensions and enhance stability, particularly in light of the growing challenges facing the region.
The talks also addressed prospects for strengthening bilateral cooperation in the areas of security and counterterrorism.
