Madrid, Spain – Barcelona secured their place in the quarterfinals of the Copa del Rey after defeating second-division side Racing Santander 2-0 in a match played Thursday evening.
Barcelona met Racing Santander at the latter’s stadium, in the round of 16 of the competition.
Ferran Torres opened the scoring for Barcelona in the 66th minute, after receiving a pass that put him in direct confrontation with the goal, and he shot the ball into the net.
