Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates — The Abu Dhabi Media Office announced today, Monday, that authorities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi successfully contained a fire that broke out in the Musaffah area after a drone targeted a fuel storage tank station. The office confirmed that the incident resulted in no injuries and did not affect operations at the vital facility. The Media Office explained that specialized teams responded immediately to the outbreak of the fire. They quickly brought it under control. This response, in turn, reflects the high level of preparedness and readiness of the security and operational teams.

Fire under control

According to the official statement, preventative measures and approved emergency plans contributed to containing the fire without significant human or material losses. Emergency teams continue to monitor the site to ensure there are no remaining hazards. Authorities confirmed that all vital operations within the tank station were unaffected. Moreover, commercial and industrial activity in the area is proceeding normally following the containment of the fire.

Warning against spreading rumors

The Abu Dhabi Media Office stressed the need to avoid being swayed by rumors or unofficial news. It called on the public to obtain information only from official and reliable sources. This ensures the accuracy of the news and allows the public to follow developments correctly. This warning is especially important in light of the sensitive security conditions in some vital areas of the emirate.

Enhancing security preparedness

The incident comes at a time of escalating drone attacks targeting vital installations in the region. As a result, security authorities are prompted to strengthen monitoring and preparedness measures in all critical areas. This includes intensified cooperation between civil defense teams and security agencies to ensure the protection of infrastructure and the safety of residents. They also monitor any potential threats around the clock. This reflects the emirate’s high level of readiness in dealing with emergencies.
