Caracas, Venezuela – The Venezuelan military announced a state of general mobilization across the country in an official statement. It affirmed its complete readiness to confront what it described as “threats targeting the sovereignty and national security of the state.” The statement also emphasized that the option of negotiation or compromise is completely out of the question at this stage.

The statement issued by the military command confirmed that the armed forces are on high alert. All military and security units have received clear instructions to operate according to comprehensive defense plans. Furthermore, coordination between the various combat branches has been enhanced.

The military stressed that “the Venezuelan nation will prevail.” It considered the current situation a pivotal moment requiring unity between the people and the military establishment. It also called on citizens to rally around the state and its institutions in the face of internal and external pressures and challenges.

The declaration of general mobilization comes amid escalating political tensions within Venezuela. Growing speculation about the future of the political landscape is adding further uncertainty to the situation. This reinforces fears that the country may enter a more sensitive phase in the coming days.
