Washington, USA – The search for the perpetrator responsible for the deadly shooting at Brown University in the United States entered its fourth day.

This comes amid a widespread security mobilization and an official pledge

from the governor of Rhode Island to dedicate “all available resources” to apprehending him.

In an escalating move, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced

a financial reward of up to $50,000 for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator.

Shock in academic circles

The incident, which occurred inside the campus of the prestigious university last Saturday, resulted in the death of two people.

This caused widespread shock in academic circles and the local community.

As a result, the site of the accident was transformed into a temporary memorial shrine,

where flowers and candles were placed in mourning for the victims.

Official movements and security measures

For his part, Governor Dan McKee issued a statement directing senior education officials

to conduct a “comprehensive review of school safety and security plans.”

He emphasized the government’s full commitment to supporting security efforts

. At the same time, the Providence Police Department increased its presence on the ground.

Calling on citizens and shop owners to cooperate by handing over

surveillance camera recordings to facilitate the tracking process.

Developments in the investigation and the suspects

Furthermore, the authorities intensified their media efforts by releasing additional videos

and photos of the suspect taken near the crime scene, with the aim of expanding the search area.

As for the course of the investigations, the case witnessed a remarkable development

with the release of a person who had previously been detained as a “person of interest”;

The state attorney general explained that there were “no legal grounds” to consider him a suspect, thus officially removing him from the circle of accusation.

In conclusion, the security services continue their race against time to solve the mystery of the crime,

while a state of anticipation and anxiety prevails throughout the university as it awaits the achievement of justice.
