Cairo, Egypt – Liverpool managed to snatch a valuable victory from their Italian hosts Inter Milan with a score of 1-0, in the match that brought the two teams together on Tuesday evening, in the Champions League.
Liverpool visited Inter Milan at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium, as part of the sixth round of the Champions League.
Dominik Szoboszlai scored the winning goal for Liverpool in the 88th minute, from a penalty kick awarded to the Reds.

The win lifted Liverpool to 12 points in eighth place, while Inter Milan dropped to fifth place with 12 points.
Barcelona vs Eintracht Frankfurt
In the same round, Barcelona defeated their guest Eintracht Frankfurt by two goals to one, in the match that brought them together at the Spotify Camp Nou stadium.
Eintracht Frankfurt took the lead through Ansgar Knaouf in the 21st minute, before Barcelona equalized in the 50th minute through Jules Koundé.
Koundé returned in the 53rd minute to score his second goal and Barcelona’s second goal, after a cross from the left flank by Lamine Yamal into the penalty area, which Koundé received with a perfect header that put the ball into the net in the right corner of the goal.
