SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico – The UAE’s Special Olympics team won the gold medal in the FIBA Basketball World Cup Triathlon currently being held in Puerto Rico.
This came after his victory in the final match of Group Three over the Chinese national team 9-5.
The Special Olympics qualified for the final match, after defeating Montenegro 8-6 in the semi-finals.
