Abu Dhabi, UAE – During its meeting, Monday, in Abu Dhabi, headed by Marius Pfizer, the Board of Directors of the International Judo Federation approved the agenda for the new season of 2026, and the organization of 90 sporting events in 50 countries.
The Federation announced the launch of its activities during the period from January 23 to December 7, 2026, with many prominent competitions.
Among them is the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Championship, from October 29 to 31.
This coincides with the celebrations of International Judo Day.
Which is held on October 28 annually, and the first “Grand Slam” tournament is organized in the Swiss city of Lausanne, from August 28 to 30, 2026.
Technical, organizational, financial and marketing reports were also approved.
The Federation thanked the UAE for the organizational success of the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Championship.
He also praised the efforts of the UAE Judo Federation in this field.
