Moscow, Russia – Russia and Belarus held a new round of talks focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation. They also discussed key international issues that are causing escalating tensions on the global stage.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed mechanisms for developing economic and military partnerships and supporting joint projects within the framework of the Union State. They emphasized the need to unify positions in the face of current challenges, particularly Western sanctions and policies that Moscow and Minsk consider to be targeting their national security.
The talks also included an exchange of views on pressing international issues, most notably the Ukrainian crisis and the future of European security. In addition, they discussed changes in the global alliance landscape and the situations in the Middle East and Central Asia.
Both sides affirmed their commitment to continued political and diplomatic coordination in international forums, striving to build a more balanced and just global order, as they described it.
