Cairo, Egypt – Al Wahda achieved an exciting victory over their guest Al Nasr, with three goals to two, in the match that brought them together on Thursday evening, as part of the competitions of the UAE League Championship for the current 2025-26 season.

Al Wahda met Al Nasr on Thursday evening at Al Nahyan Stadium, in the opening match of the seventh round of the ADNOC Pro League.

Al Nasr started the match strongly, after they were awarded a penalty in the seventh minute of the first half, following a perfect pass from Agudelo that reached Doumbia, who was alone with the goal, before he was hit by Al Wahda goalkeeper Mohammed Al Shamsi, so the referee awarded a penalty in favor of Al Nasr.

Al-Nasr player Abdullah Toure successfully scored the penalty kick in the tenth minute, after shooting the ball into the middle of the goal.

Agudelo missed a chance to score a second goal for Al-Nasr in the 12th minute, after he shot a ball from inside the penalty area, but it went over the crossbar.

In the 24th minute, Al Wahda’s Ruben Filip missed the equalizer after a superb pass from Dusan Tadic put him through on goal, but he shot the ball just wide of the post.

Facundo Kruszczyk scored the first goal for Al Wahda in the 45+3 minute of the first half, with a perfect header that found the back of the net.

It wasn’t long after Al Wahda’s equalizer that Al Nasr regained the lead in the 53rd minute, after a powerful shot from inside the penalty area.

Al Wahda equalized again in the 77th minute, through Omar Kharbin from a penalty kick awarded to his team.

In the 82nd minute, Ruben Canedo scored the third goal for Al Wahda with a rocket shot.

Al-Nasr players then tried to equalize, but to no avail, amidst a fierce defense from Al-Wahda, and the match ended with Al-Nasr winning with a score of (3-2).

The win raised Al Wahda’s points tally to 17, temporarily placing them at the top of the UAE league standings, while Al Nasr’s points remained frozen at 8, leaving them in ninth place.
