Jeddah, Saudi Arabia – The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Nations discussed the latest regional and international developments. This came within the framework of ongoing coordination between the two sides to address the accelerating challenges facing the region and the world.
During the meeting, political and humanitarian issues of mutual interest were reviewed. The importance of Saudi Arabia’s active role in supporting the United Nations’ efforts to achieve international peace and security was also emphasized, including promoting peaceful solutions in conflict zones.
Representatives of the international organization praised the Kingdom’s humanitarian and relief efforts, carried out through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, as well as its role in supporting countries affected by disasters and conflicts.
The discussions also addressed the importance of strengthening partnerships in the areas of sustainable development and youth empowerment. They also touched on financing projects aimed at combating poverty and unemployment. All of this contributes to achieving the United Nations Vision 2030 and the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the two sides affirmed continued communication and joint coordination. This aims to support peace initiatives and protect civilians in conflict zones. It also seeks to consolidate regional and global stability.
