Moscow, Russia – Director of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB), Alexander Bortnikov, confirmed that Britain directly supervised the Ukrainian attack on Russian airports and strategic bombers.
“Under the direct supervision of British intelligence, on the eve of negotiations between the Ukrainian and Russian delegations in Istanbul (on June 2 of this year), the Ukrainian intelligence operation “Pautin” was carried out,” Bortnikov said during a meeting of the Council of Directors of Security and Intelligence Services of the Commonwealth of Independent States countries in Samarkand. “The British subsequently spread propaganda through falsification in the media about the alleged massive damage caused by the operation and the planning of the sabotage act by Ukraine alone.”
In this context, Bortnikov stated that British and Ukrainian special services are preparing to sabotage the Turkish Stream gas pipeline.
This came in a speech delivered by Bortnikov at the 57th meeting of the Council of Heads of Security Services and Special Services of the Commonwealth of Independent States countries, held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, on Thursday.
Bortnikov pointed out that there is reliable evidence that terrorist attacks and sabotage operations in Russia are being carried out with the support of British intelligence services.
Bortnikov added that instructors from the British Special Forces (SAS) and MI6 planned a series of drone attacks on the Caspian Pipeline Consortium’s facilities.
Its shareholders include companies from Russia, Kazakhstan and the United States.
He said: “We have information that the British, in cooperation with Ukrainian intelligence services, are planning to sabotage the Turkish Stream gas pipeline.”
