Kyiv, Ukraine – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed two days ago that he had asked US President Donald Trump to supply Ukraine with new long-range weapons.
However, he refused to reveal her identity. It turned out that he meant Tomahawk missiles, whose range could reach the heart of Moscow.
A Ukrainian official revealed that these weapons, which Zelensky refused to disclose two days ago, are nothing but long-range, precision-guided Tomahawk missiles.
Zelensky explained last Wednesday that he had asked Trump for an additional weapons system. This system might force Russian President Vladimir Putin to enter into peace talks, without Ukraine even having to use it.
Note that Kiev had requested Tomahawk missiles from Washington several times over the past year.
Including on a list of equipment I ordered months ago, but the US administration has remained hesitant until now.

What is a Tomahawk missile?
Tomahawk missiles, which are mainly used to hit ground targets with high accuracy from long distances, have a range of about 1,600 km or more.
This allows it to be launched from safe distances outside the range of enemy air defenses.
These missiles also use an advanced guidance system that combines GPS, digital maps, and radar.
This gives it the ability to hit the target with extreme accuracy.
Also, it can change course in flight to evade air defenses or to modify the target, making it difficult to intercept.
In addition, this missile flies at a very low altitude, which helps it infiltrate under radar systems.
It can be launched from warships, submarines and aircraft as well (in some modified versions).
The question here is if these weapons are delivered to Kiev.. Will you force Putin to return to the negotiating tables and sit down with Zelensky?
It is worth noting that Trump had previously informed Kiev that it must respond in proportion to Russian attacks on its territory.
This is after he had previously rejected the use of American weapons to strike the Russian interior.
