Copenhagen, Denmark – Copenhagen Airport resumed flights on Tuesday morning, after they were suspended or diverted overnight due to the detection of unidentified drones.

Danish police said they saw two or three unidentified female drivers on Monday.

This caused flights to stop taking off from Scandinavia’s largest airport, or to be diverted to other nearby airports.

“Copenhagen Airport has reopened after being closed due to drone activity,” Copenhagen International Airport said.

The airport is also known as Kastrup Airport

“However, there will be delays or cancellations of some departing flights,” he added. Passengers should check with the airline for more information.

Local media showed a significant security presence around the airport.

Oslo Airport is also closed

Meanwhile, the airport in the Norwegian capital, Oslo, was also closed after drones were spotted, Norwegian broadcaster NRK reported early Tuesday morning.

The movement later returned to normal.

It is unclear where these marches came from.

These developments come amid growing security concerns in northern Europe following the escalation of Russian sabotage activities and the repeated incursions of drones and fighters into NATO airspace in recent weeks.
