Cairo, Egypt – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, commonly known as al-Sisi, stressed, on Wednesday, in a speech he delivered during the celebration of the Prophet’s birthday. He noted the state’s full awareness of the plans “going on around it and what is being hatched against it”.

He stressed the need to take deliberate measures to confront it.

Al-Sisi said: “I reassure the great Egyptian people of our vigilance and awareness of what is going on around us. We are aware of and being plotted against us, and our standing in the face of challenges with well-thought-out measures.”

The Egyptian President added that the state is continuing to enhance stability and security. This is based on the resilience of its people and its own capabilities.

He said: “We are confident in the help of God Almighty, and we are based on the strength of our people. We rely on our capabilities to provide a safe and stable life for our citizens, in all parts of the country.”

Sisi stressed that Egypt will remain strong in the face of dangers, no matter how diverse its methods are.

He said: “No matter how many faces of evil there are and how diverse its methods are, Egypt –with the permission of its Lord– will remain a land of safety. It will remain a land of peace and pride”.
