Washington, United States – From Washington, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he is ready to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin without preconditions.
After a summit with US President Donald Trump and European leaders, Zelensky said Moscow’s previous demand for a ceasefire had only led to new conditions.
“We are ready for any kind of formula,” Zelensky explained, noting that this must be at the leadership level.
Zelensky added that “whatever happens” he must meet with Putin. At that point, they would begin working on how to end the conflict.
He stressed that the preconditions for the talks by Kiev would be met with “100 demands” from Russia.

Zelensky previously stated that he had discussed “highly sensitive points” with Trump. He stressed that “security in Ukraine depends on the United States” as well as Europe.
He stressed the importance of humanitarian issues, “such as the exchange of prisoners and the recovery of children kidnapped by Russia”.
He also explained that work will likely be done to determine security guarantees for Kiev within 10 days.
He added, in a press conference after the meetings: “It is likely that… (Disclosure) of security guarantees by our partners, and more and more details will appear.. All of this will be officially determined on paper one way or another within a week to 10 days.
He also said that regional issues related to a possible peace agreement would be worked on between Ukraine and Russia.
The Ukrainian president also confirmed his readiness to meet his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to end the war.
He also pointed out that “there is a Ukrainian offer to buy American weapons worth about $90 billion.” There is an agreement with America to purchase drones.
