The bronze medals went to Yahya Shuaib Al Kaf from Sharjah Cultural Chess Club in the under-18 boys’ category, his club colleague Sultan Jaber Al Zarouni in the under-14 boys’ category, Mohammed Al Muaini in the under-8 boys’ category, and Fatima Rashid Al Kharousi from Sharjah Girls’ Chess and Culture Club in the under-8 girls’ category.

Kholoud Al Zarouni, board member of the UAE Chess Federation and head of the Women’s Committee, said that Emirati chess continues to assert its position in the Arab world, and that participating in the tournament gave players, both male and female, the opportunity to interact with different schools of thought, as well as to raise their international rankings and achieve outstanding results.

She emphasized that this result reflects the strength of the base and the wide range of talent in the country, especially since the tournament witnessed record participation and awarded international titles to the top-place finishers. This reinforces the value of the achievement and motivates continued work and development in preparation for future competitions.
