Cairo, Egypt – Screenwriter Mahmoud Hamdan denied recent rumors that he had signed a contract to write a new series with actor Ahmed El-Awady for the 2027 Ramadan drama season, stressing that these reports are baseless and that he has not yet signed a contract for the series.
Repeat cooperation
This denial came despite the great success the duo achieved in recent years through their collaborative works, which garnered widespread public acclaim, making talk of a repeat collaboration between them seem likely. However, Hamdan recently put an end to the speculation by denying the existence of any official agreement at present.
Latest collaboration
The duo’s last collaboration was the Ali Clay series, which aired during Ramadan and achieved great success.
