Netanyahu faces corruption charges, which have been under consideration by the courts since 2019.
The charges include accepting bribes, breach of trust, and abuse of office for personal and media gain.
Luxury gifts

He confirmed that what he received were “gifts from friends.”
The second case concerns communications with the publisher of Yedioth Ahronoth, Noni Mozes.
During which he offered improved media coverage in favor of Netanyahu in exchange for legislation limiting the circulation of a rival newspaper.
Regulatory facilities
The defense asserts that the understanding was not implemented and did not result in any actual action.
The third and most serious case involves allegations that Netanyahu provided regulatory favors to the telecommunications giant Bezeq while he was communications minister.
This is in exchange for positive media coverage of him and his wife (Sara Netanyahu) on the company-owned news site Walla.
