Natural phenomenon or disease.. "Knee crackling" worries many
What is scientifically known as "knee cracking" affects people of all age groups/agencies
SHARE

Dubai, United Arab Emirates – A recent medical study reported that the grinding and popping sounds coming from the knee worry many around the world. However, they are most often nothing but a natural phenomenon that is not a cause for concern.

Researchers specializing in joint diseases have confirmed that what is scientifically known as “knee cracking” affects people of all age groups.

They pointed out that 90 percent of these cases are not linked to any health problems when they are free of accompanying symptoms.

According to research published in the specialized journal Arthroplasty, these sounds may arise from multiple causes.

Such as the explosion of small gas bubbles in the synovial fluid.

While other theories indicate the possibility of tendons rubbing against bones or slight changes in cartilage tissue.

These results came after analyzing data on more than 5,000 cases from different age groups. The study was conducted over a period of two years.

This provides reassurance to millions who worry about the sounds of their joints during daily activities.

The real key to assessing the severity of these sounds lies in monitoring the accompanying symptoms.

If the crackling is not accompanied by pain, swelling, or restriction of joint movement, it is often a benign condition.

But when these symptoms accompany it, it becomes necessary to consult a doctor.

The good news is that there are many preventive measures that can be taken to keep your knees healthy.

Including regular exercises to strengthen the muscles around the joint and maintain a healthy weight.

In addition to practicing physical activities appropriate to your age and health condition, all of these factors help maintain the flexibility and strength of your joints.
