Abu Dhabi, UAE – The United Arab Emirates strongly condemned the attacks launched by the Houthi terrorist militia targeting the southern region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with ballistic missiles. It affirmed that these attacks constitute a blatant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and a direct threat to its security and stability.
UAE condemns Houthi attacks
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in an official statement, affirmed that the missile attacks targeting Saudi Arabia constitute a dangerous escalation that threatens the region’s security.
It also stressed the UAE complete rejection of all acts targeting the Kingdom’s security or infringing upon its territorial integrity.
The Ministry clarified that such attacks contravene international laws and norms. Furthermore, they undermine efforts to consolidate regional security and stability, and it called for an immediate cessation of all actions that threaten the security and stability of nations.
Full solidarity with Saudi Arabia
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed the UAE’s full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its unwavering support in confronting all threats to its security and stability.
It also expressed its full support for all measures taken by Riyadh to protect its territory and citizens and to safeguard its national security.
The statement emphasized that the fraternal relations between the UAE and Saudi Arabia are a cornerstone of regional security and stability.
It further clarified that Abu Dhabi stands with the Kingdom in addressing various security challenges.
