St. Petersburg, Russia – The UAE Businesswomen Council and Obora Russia signed a memorandum of cooperation during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum held in Russia. In a move that reflects the depth of bilateral relations and enhances cooperation in the fields of entrepreneurship, supporting small and medium enterprises, and empowering women economically.
The signing was attended by His Excellency Abdullah bin Tawq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism. His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Sultan Issa Al Jaber, UAE Ambassador to the Russian Federation, and Alexander Kalinin, President of Obora Russia.
The memorandum was signed by Her Excellency Aisha Mohammed Saeed Al Mulla, Chairwoman of the UAE Businesswomen Council. Nadia Cherkasova, Vice President of Obora Russia, Project Coordinator of the Eurasian Women’s Forum Council.
The two sides stressed that the memorandum represents an important step towards strengthening economic partnerships and expanding opportunities for joint cooperation in supporting women entrepreneurs. Exchanging experiences between the two countries, in line with sustainable development trends.
