جنيف، سويسرا – استهل فريق الإمارات – إكس آر جي للدراجات الهوائية، مشاركته، الثلاثاء، في طواف روماندي 2026 المقام في سويسرا بتحقيق المركز الثالث. عن طريق لاعبه البرتغالي إيفو أوليفيرا، فيما جاء السلوفيني تادي بوجاتشار في المركز السادس.
وكان أوليفيرا أول المنطلقين من صفوف الفريق في المرحلة الافتتاحية. إذ نجح سريعاً في تسجيل أفضل توقيت، قبل أن يتمكن كل من السويدي ياكوب سودركفيست من فريق ليدل-تريك. والفرنسي دوريان جودون من فريق إينيوس جريناديرز، من تحسين الزمن، ليحصد الأخير الفوز بالمرحلة.
وأنهى أوليفيرا السباق في المركز الثالث، بعدما سجل متوسط سرعة تجاوز 52 كيلومتراً في الساعة على مسار بلغ طوله 3.2 كيلومتر.
