Abu Dhabi, UAE – Abu Dhabi Police announced the arrest of 375 people of different nationalities. On charges of photographing various websites and circulating and spreading misleading information on social media platforms related to current events. Referring them to the Public Prosecution to take legal action against them in accordance with applicable legislation.

It affirmed its commitment to enhancing security and safety in cooperation with relevant authorities across the emirate. Stressing that these practices are a clear violation of the laws and regulations in force in the country, which aim to protect society and maintain its security and stability.

Abu Dhabi Police confirmed that despite the warnings and alerts issued in this regard, it was noted that some people violated the instructions. Stressing that the competent authorities will not hesitate to take deterrent legal measures against anyone proven to be involved in spreading panic and provoking public opinion. It is a crime punishable by law.

Abu Dhabi Police called on the public to verify accuracy and credibility when circulating information, and to rely on approved official sources. Do not be led by rumors or republish unreliable news.

She noted the importance of community partnership in enhancing public security. Pointing out that community members’ awareness and commitment to laws contribute significantly to protecting lives and property. Establishing a safe and stable environment for all members of society.
