Abu Dhabi, UAE – The capital, Abu Dhabi, is hosting the third edition of the International Conference on Dialogue among Civilizations and Tolerance. Which is held under the slogan “The Impact of New Media and Artificial Intelligence on the Family and Society”. During the period from June 3 to 5, 2026, in line with the vision of the UAE’s wise leadership to declare 2026 the “Year of the Family.” Based on a commitment to promoting the values of dialogue and tolerance and building cohesive societies.

The conference is held under the auspices of the Emirates Researchers Center for Research and Studies, in partnership with the Abrahamic Family House in Abu Dhabi and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the United States of America. With support from the Abu Dhabi Convention and Exhibition Office.

An intellectual and dialogue platform

The third session of the conference, held in Abu Dhabi, builds on the success achieved by the first and second sessions. It continues its role as an international intellectual and dialogue platform, aiming to consolidate the values of tolerance, coexistence and intercultural dialogue within the framework of accelerating digital transformations and new media. Understanding how artificial intelligence technologies affect the family and society, their role in shaping individual and collective awareness, and their repercussions on family relationships and social identity. Especially among the younger generations, with an emphasis on employing them morally. In a way that enhances social cohesion, protects family values, and combats misinformation.

The conference brings together an elite group of representatives of governments, academic institutions and international organizations. Along with private sector partners, within the framework of a shared vision to promote civilized dialogue and spread mutual understanding. Consolidating the values of tolerance and coexistence in an era witnessing unprecedented digital transformations.

The conference affirms the UAE’s commitment to supporting constructive global dialogue and strengthens Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading international center for digital coexistence and intercultural cooperation.

International speakers

More than 100 speakers from around the world are expected to participate in the conference, representing governmental, diplomatic, academic, media, and cultural sectors. The event will attract more than 4,500 participants from more than 120 countries, in addition to extensive media coverage that includes more than 160 media platforms.

This international momentum confirms the advanced status of the conference as an influential intellectual platform concerned with anticipating the future of the family and society in light of new media and artificial intelligence. Consolidating the values of tolerance and human coexistence in the digital age.

The conference will discuss a set of key topics that reflect the depth of digital transformations and their direct impact on families and society. These include digital education in the era of artificial intelligence, strategies to promote healthy family dynamics, the role of social media in shaping family identity and values, and the challenges and opportunities it poses. In addition to the relationship between artificial intelligence and society and ways to achieve a balance between innovation and ethical responsibility.

The conference also addresses mechanisms to combat digital misinformation to protect families and communities, and the impact of artificial intelligence on developing emotional intelligence and human relationships. The role of technology in establishing values of tolerance and building inclusive digital societies.

It also addresses the ethics of AI-based content and its implications for families, and the role of virtual communities in promoting family cohesion. The importance of digital culture as a tool for building inclusive and cohesive societies. In addition to the impact of artificial intelligence and digital games on socialization within the family.
