Abu Dhabi, UAE – His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, received a phone call today from his brother, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Full Saudi solidarity with the UAE
During the call, the two sides discussed current developments in the region
and the blatant Iranian attacks targeting the territory of the United Arab Emirates and several other brotherly nations.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia expressed the Kingdom’s strong condemnation of these attacks,
affirming the Kingdom’s full solidarity with and support for the United Arab Emirates.
His Highness also emphasized the Kingdom’s readiness to provide all of its resources to support the UAE
in all measures it takes to protect its security and sovereignty.
For his part, His Highness the President of the UAE expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s brotherly stance,
its unwavering solidarity, and its continued support for the UAE in these circumstances.
Warning of the consequences of violating sovereignty
During the call, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman warned of the grave consequences of continuing to violate the sovereignty of states and the principles of international law through such attacks.
The two leaders stressed that these actions represent a dangerous escalation that threatens the security of the region and directly undermines its stability.
At the end of the call, both sides called for restraint and a return to diplomatic solutions and dialogue in order to preserve the security of the region and the stability of its people.
