Dubai, UAE – Coastal areas and islands witnessed fog formation on Wednesday morning, which led to low horizontal visibility and sometimes lack thereof in some areas.
The chances of fog forming are expected to continue until Saturday.
The National Center of Meteorology indicated that fog began to form at 23:30 pm the day before yesterday, Tuesday, until 10:00 am yesterday, Wednesday.
The center expects the fog to continue until Saturday as a result of the UAE being affected by an extension of a surface high pressure system, accompanied by an extension of a high pressure system in the upper atmosphere.
The National Center of Meteorology expected the weather on Thursday to be clear to partly cloudy at times, with a drop in temperatures.
It is humid at night and Friday morning in some inland areas with the possibility of fog or light mist forming.
On Friday, the weather is clear to partly cloudy at times, and humid at night.
