Abu Dhabi, UAE – Twenty new public prosecutors took the legal oath before His Excellency Abdullah bin Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi, Minister of Justice and Chairman of the Federal Judicial Council.

The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Dr. Hamad Saif Al Shamsi, Federal Attorney General, and was held at the Ministry of Justice headquarters in Abu Dhabi.

Empowering young national talent

The swearing-in ceremony followed a federal decree appointing the new batch of judges.

This step reflects the leadership’s commitment to empowering

and preparing young national talent to assume judicial responsibilities.

This appointment embodies a strategic vision aimed at building a sophisticated justice system based on swift justice and the rule of law.

It also enhances the country’s competitive standing regionally and internationally.

Reflects the development of judicial training

This cohort was distinguished by being the first in which

all members met the requirements for a Master of Laws degree.

This was achieved through a comprehensive training program implemented

by the Judicial Training Institute of the Ministry of Justice.

This academic program aims to enhance the research and professional capabilities of public prosecutors.

It also empowers them to effectively address emerging legislation and contemporary legal challenges.

Strengthening confidence in the judicial system

The appointment of the new batch confirms the Federal Judicial Council’s continued efforts to invest in national talents,

as a fundamental pillar for raising the efficiency of institutional performance.

Furthermore, preparing qualified judicial personnel, both academically and professionally,

contributes to strengthening public trust in the judicial system.

It also helps to solidify the principles of integrity, transparency, and innovation in the delivery of judicial services.

These steps align with the UAE’s aspirations to establish a safe and stable legal environment that guarantees the protection of rights.
