Five Emirati brands were included in the «Global 500» list of the strongest and most expensive brands in the world for the year 2026, issued by «Brand Finance», with a total value of the five brands amounting to $59.66 billion (218 billion dirhams).
With a growth of 15.2% over the value recorded for the year 2025, which amounted to $51.70 billion (189.7 billion dirhams).
According to «Brand Finance», the five Emirati brands received strong ratings.
Hague continued about the Emirati brands that entered the list: «(ADNOC) was able to be among the 100 largest and most powerful global brands, as it ranked sixth globally in the energy and gas sector, which confirms the strength of this company through its investment in human cadres and its continued investment in expansion and development, in addition to being a leader in energy efficiency and sustainability».
He pointed out that «Emirates Airlines», which has entered the list of the 500 largest and most powerful brands, is the best airline in the world, as a result of its investments in technology, fleet and human resources.
Hague stressed that «strong investments and strong standards lead to strong brands».
He said: «Emirati brands such as (E&E) and (First Abu Dhabi Bank) were also able to be on the list due to their investments, development and expansions».
